The BearingPoint Air Force Sector is currently searching for a Financial Reporting Compliance Manager.

Performance Profile:



The individual will be asked to support and assist with leadership of CFO compliance for the Air Force in the Washington DC region. Currently the CFO compliance efforts include OMB Circular A-123 package development and financial system compliance. For the A-123 package the individual prepares detailed process and system documentation from source documentation to financial statement presentation for an assigned segment of the Air Force's business processes. The financial system support requires assessment of compliance against standards.

Position-specific Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree is required

• 8+ years experience assisting a client in defining financial disclosure problem areas, audit ability deficiencies and develop solutions alternatives/project plans to remedy the stated problem

• 8+ years of experience with client interface and communication

• 8+ years of experience in evaluating and documenting business process with emphasis on financial functionality assessment

• 8+ years experience with business process analysis to include business process mapping

• 8+ years of experience in the use of Microsoft products including MSWord, Excel and PowerPoint

Position-specific Desired Skills:

• CIA, CMA, CPA strongly

• MBA

• Knowledge of Access and Visio

• Experience with ERP implementation with focus on financial requirements

• Ability to assess compliance with government or financial standards

• Process audit, System audit experience

• Governmental accounting (Department of Defense or DFAS specific desirable)
