Java Developer/Autonomy Implemenation Full Time Regular

Requirements:



Our Technology Solutions group is seeking a Java Developer with Autonomy search tools experience. This position is with our Civilian Segment team and the location is in Arlington, VA on-site with the National Science Foundation.



Performance Profile:



- Provide app development support on-site at client located in Arlington, VA during core business hours (9AM - 5PM Monday - Friday) or according to an alternate coverage arrangement acceptable to BearingPoint and the client.

- The Consultant is required to maintain necessary documentation for his work. Examples may include but are not limited to a list of upgrades, backup schedule, and other scheduled, and ad hoc activities.

- Responsible for complying with BearingPoint policies, procedures, and CMMI documentation requirements.

- May provide weekly status reports for inclusion in periodic project status updates presented to the client

- Consultant will interact with the customer on a daily basis, plans, and manages his work.

Position Specific Requirements:

- 3+ years of professional experience.

- 3+ years of experience in design/development of Java/J2EE based web applications and XML and XSLT technologies.

- Expertise in implementing search solutions using search tools such as Autonomy/IDOL.

- Experience working with RDBMS databases

- Expertise in implementing search solutions using search tools such as Autonomy/IDOL and ETL tools.

- Experience working with RDBMS databases.

Desired skills:

- Search Engine Experience - Autonomy

- ETL tool experience wtih Talend or Pentaho

- Web Services

- SUN Application Server / Apache Tomcat

- Sybase
