The BearingPoint Navy Sector is searching for a Jr. BFM (Budget and Finance Manager) Consultant.

Performance Profile:
Provide Financial Support to a Budget and Finance Manager of a major acquisition of DoD acquisition program. The candidate's responsibility includes assisting the government in performing financial management and financial execution functions including spend plan development, requirements development, Budget Exhibit preparation, and financial execution metrics tracking and reporting. The candidate shall respond to internal and external data calls, and prepare financial execution documents as assigned. The candidate will interface with other DoD activities in support of program execution. Specific tasks include the following:
• Execution Tracking and Metrics Reporting. The candidate will provide execution of funding documents using accounting and financial management information systems and other tools to prepare reports for reporting requirements.
• Budget Process Support/Budget Exhibit Preparation. The candidate shall provide initial budgetary products and updates to draft and existing President's/Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD)/FMB budget exhibits for all applicable appropriations.
• Program Objective Memorandum (POM)/Program Review (PR). The Candidate shall assist the Program Office with the development and justification of financial requirements.
• Contracts Support. The candidate shall assist the government in conducting contracting activities in executing the current fiscal year spend plan for the Program Office and its associated programs.
Position-specific Required Skills:
• The Public Services sector supports the DoD, requiring candidates to obtain a security clearance that requires US Citizenship.
•Bachelor's Degree, or 5 years of specific work experience relevant to this requisition will be considered.
• 1 years of experience working with BFM or functional equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in execution tracking/metrics reporting, budget process/exhibit preparation, POM/PR development and review, and Contracts support for financial/business/budget manager.
• 1 years business experience supporting mid to upper level clients.
• 1 years of project experience relating to the PPBE process.
• 1 years of consulting experience within the DoD.
• 1 years of Experience developing program briefings and metrics.
Position-specific Desired Skills:
• PMP certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 1 - 3 years in commercial and IT experience.
• Minimum 1 - 3 years of consulting experience within the DoD.
