The BearingPoint Public Services Enterprise Solutions practice is currently searching for a Senior Oracle Federal Financials Data Conversion/Management Consultant. This is an ERP Program Management Support role.
Position Description/Responsibilities:
- Provide support in converting data from legacy core and ancillary accounting, time and attendance, contracting, and property systems to Oracle Federal Financials.
- Tasks include
Mapping legacy data elements to the Oracle application
Mapping legacy data elements to the Standard Financial Information Structure (SFIS).
Providing suggestions for data cleansing activities.
Performing conversion test and verification activities
Developing target data structures.
Oracle application configuration and modeling of target data structures
Supporting the execution of mock data conversions to include the execution of scripts and loader programs.
- Interact with client's business process Subject Matter Experts and legacy system owners in performing functions described above.
- Provide Data Conversion and Management support across all functional areas:
Procure to Pay
Order to Fulfill
Budget to Report
Acquire to Retire
Time and Attendance
Cost Accounting
Required skills/experience points:
- 5+ Years Experience with Oracle Federal Financials
- Solid understanding of Oracle Federal Financials data dictionary and definitions and entity relationship diagrams.
- Solid Writing Skills
- Solid Communication Skills
- 2+ Years Experience in Performing Data Conversion Activities
Desired skills/experience:
- Knowledge of and at least 1 year experience with Financial Management activities and processes within the DoD.
- Knowledge of DoD Policy.
- Knowledge of the Standard Financial Information Structure.
- Knowledge of or experience with the Defense Agencies Initiative Program
- CPA designation
Logistics:
Location is Alexandria, VA - minimal travel required. Relocation could be offered.
