BearingPoint Public Sector group is looking for a Senior Oracle Project Accounting Consultant. In this position you will provide Oracle based solutions to clients by designing, developing, and executing plans and strategies.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Work as a functional advisor through the full SDLC both within BE Project Teams, Client teams and other Contractor teams:

• Requirements gathering and analysis

• Functional Design documentation and evaluation

• Custom configuration/extension and standard module setup evaluation to support overall solution

• Development of functional scenarios

• Evaluation and support of End-user Test Scripts

• Team building through mentoring and coaching, provide input and guidance into the firms hiring process, and actively participates in staff recruitment and retention activities.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Ability to translate customer needs from a business requirements document into technical requirements, design and specifications.

• Support and evaluate configuration during the design and implementation process.

• Document applicable business processes and procedures.

• Provide technical consultation to Business users.

Skills Required:

• 3-5 years experience of a solid foundation with Oracle Project Accounting (Costing and Billing) and Financials 11i

• 3-5 years experience with federal accounting principles (USSGL/DODSGL)

• 3-5 years experience of functional experience with Oracle Project Costing and Billing modules; preference for a minimum of 2 full SDLCs.

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Accounting or other appropriate discipline.

• Strong experience in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
