The BearingPoint Public Services Navy team is currently searching for Business Operations Improvement Analysts who will be tasked to improve business operations within a DoD Agency.

Performance Profile:



The candidates will perform the following actions:

- Evaluate all Department business practices and processes both individually and holistically to determine candidates for Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and make written proposals for improving efficiency and effectiveness. The evaluations shall include as-is and to-be process modeling and functional economic analysis of alternatives.

- Evaluate factors such as suitability and effectiveness of both organizational structure and information technology support systems for existing and proposed processes.

- Evaluate interfaces between processes so that the Department business operations is studied and improved in an end-to-end fashion.

Position-specific Required Skills:

- 3+ years of prior DoD consulting experience

- 2+ years of prior Business Process Improvement (BPR) consulting experience

- Bachelors degree required

Position-specific Desired Skills:

- PMP certification desired

- Lean Six Sigma certification desired (Greenbelt, Blackbelt, etc)

Logistics:

- Up to 25% travel required
