The BearingPoint Commercial Services sales team seeks an experienced sales professional selling IT business solutions and technology consulting services in the Life Sciences marketplace to join an established account team in the Midwest U.S. region.

Performance Profile:
Primary Responsibilities:
• Bookings - achieve a net fee booking quota among select Life Sciences targeted accounts in the Midwest region.
• Sales Opportunity Management - candidate will identify, create, qualify, strategize and close on new incremental engagements within Life Sciences marketplace.
• Candidate will drive the sales of all BearingPoint solutions offerings. Solutions include, but are not limited to E-commerce, E-procurement, Customer Relationship Management, Knowledge Management, Data Warehousing, ERP (SAP and Oracle) and Supply Chain Management.
• Candidate will support the sales and alliance efforts of the Life Sciences practice outside of their own account activities.
• Develop and manage assigned key accounts, as well as the key relationships of those accounts.
• Support the development of other key accounts for the Life Sciences practice.
• Develop and manage key relationships among the BearingPoint Life Sciences field organization.
• Provide insight and leadership on Life Sciences market direction required in order to increase market share for BearingPoint.
• Operational responsibilities that include sales forecasting as well as internal business processes and policies.
Basic Qualifications:
• A Bachelors degree in business or sales related field.
• A minimum of 10 years demonstrated technology consulting sales experience.
• A minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience selling technology consulting and solution services to the Life Science marketplace.
• Demonstrated track record of sales success in assigned key accounts.
• Experience selling management and technology consulting projects -- in particular, large scale projects involving strategy, business process and solutions.
• Leveragable relationship base among the Life Sciences field sales organization within the assigned major clients and geographic region.
Logistics:
-Travel requirement for this position is approximately 25%.
