The BearingPoint Air Force Team is currently searching for a Senior Management Analyst.

Location: WPAFB Dayton, OH

Performance Profile:



The candidate will be responsible for conducting analyses of supply chain processes, initiatives, and opportunities. This support shall include supporting government functional managers in all manner of analysis support tasks, not limited to; developing business case analyses, providing gap analyses on AFGLSC SCM processes and developing detailed plans for resolving process deficiencies.

In addition, the contractor shall support the government in performing the following support tasks, not limited to:

• Employing business process execution support

• Supporting meeting facilitation

• Demonstrating ability to understand client needs and deliver products and/or services that enhance client satisfaction

• Being a part of an integrated BearingPoint / Client team

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is able to gather information quickly, conduct analytical investigations, develop analysis methods and techniques, make assessments and effectively communicate results and implications of the studies to the client in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will be able to apply technical knowledge to current and proposed logistics processes as well as communicate those concepts in lay terms back to AF stakeholders.

The candidate will possess strong communication and problem solving skills.

Position-specific Required Skills:

• Must have Bachelor's degree

• US Citizen

• Able to obtain a Security Clearance/pass a NAC background check

• One of the following:

• 10+ years experience performing operations research or functional area type activities in the military acquisition or support environment with a Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems or 7+ years experience performing operations research or functional area type activities in the military acquisition or support environment with a Master's degree in Operations Research, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems

• Research experience to include the use of various analytic techniques and the ability to summarize findings in the development of research papers, presentations, etc. Strong MS Office product skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Project

• Proven ability to communicate, gather requirements, and facilitate technical discussions with clients, management, and team members

• The Public Services sector supports the DoD, requiring candidates to be a US Citizen

Position-specific Desired Skills:

• Master's Degree preferred

• Air Force or DoD experience

• Experience conducting business process improvement / business process re-engineering efforts

• Experience utilizing and applying project management methods and techniques

• Experience employing change management

• Experience supporting working group / meeting facilitation

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Self motivated and able to work in an independent manner

• Able to work in a fast paced deadline-driven environment

Logistics:

• Up to 10% travel required.
